Salvador Dominguez, Ph.D.

Research Associate

Salvador Dominguez is a researcher with an emphasis on studying emerging adulthood and mental health. At AMTC & Associates, he provides research and evaluation support to AMTC associates and clients to deliver solutions in data management and training, program analysis, reporting, implementation, and evaluation. Having a strong technical, functional skill set, he also contributes in the areas of technical and professional writing, grant writing, data management, and analysis using statistical processing software such as SPSS and STATA.

Dominguez has experience in conducting secondary data analysis on publicly available datasets for various research studies. He has also worked with an interdisciplinary research team on topics such as the effects of low-level lead exposure on children from urban and rural communities and is passionate about making a difference in communities across a wide range of needs.

Dominguez earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, Master of Public Health, and Doctorate in Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from the University of Texas at El Paso. He also holds a Gradate Certificate in Technical and Professional Writing and has received formal training in courses on topics such as protection of human subjects, biostatistics, epidemiology, and environmental science.
