Brook Miller
Research and Evaluation Intern
Originally from the Chicago area, Brook Miller joined AMTC in the spring of 2022 as an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin. Through her internship, she is developing skills in programming, research, and data evaluation that make a positive impact within the communities AMTC serves.
Her academic and professional endeavors have prepared her for success. In addition to her education, Miller has had the opportunity to participate in the Global Health Project partnering with United Planet which brought together undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students from the United States and Iraq in a Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program that was subsequently presented and distributed to representatives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As a team member on this project, Miller realized her passion for equal and nonpartisan access to healthcare. During her time at AMTC & Associates, Miller looks forward to making a positive contribution in the realm of Teen Pregnancy Prevention,
Currently, Miller is continuing her education at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She will graduate in December 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with multiple semesters of honors under her belt. Looking forward, Miller would like to attain her Master’s in Public Health at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee Joseph J. Zilber School of Public Health. The AMTC internship program is an ideal opportunity for her to tailor her experiences to her future goals.
